Saturday Morning Buzz

It's Saturday morning and I'm feeling the buzz (and I'm not referring to 'that' type of buzz). I'm talking about bees. It's time to take notice. Bees are in. Bees are the only insect that produce food for humans - and it's not just honey. Think fruit, the stuff doesn't polinate itself. Bees play a role in every third bite of food that we, as humans take. But if we don't take action now, and reverse their declining numbers that buzz you hear will become a deafening silence.

A Cup of Coffee and A Bad Reputation

Is there anything better than Friday morning and a fresh cup of coffee? Well sure there is, but right now, it's hard to imagine.

Today's photo features one of the most misunderstood and underappreciated creatures you'll find under the sun - a turkey vulture. These majestic birds really need a new marketting team. I've titled this shot "A Bad Reputation", it seems apt.
